Hey i just refound my game and i was wondering what all i needed to play it anymore, i try to go to internet game and it is stuck at "connecting to server" and also i want to use this mod. any help would be great.

first of all you must download modmanager and the mod then you have to look round the forum how to connect to the server because global server is down for ever hope it helped you

so there is no more online play for this game then?

1st donload the mod than The patches.

Install freelancer it schould be vanilla.
Install mod manager 1.4b.
install the mod.
install the patch 1.71 and 1.72.
Than activate mod and search for the server.
pls tell me if it works.

for 1.8 there will be a new set of rules, wich are in progress to be translated by myselfs as we speak.

I should have them finished within the next view days. Then they will go to server administration for review. When they will actually relese them, ist up to them.
